Description:

As we begin to move back into classroom learning at all levels of education, this learning collaborative will focus on the latest guidelines for schools in responding to safety concerns related to COVID-19.  We will share some challenges and discuss on-going issues regarding re-opening and strategies to keep students and staff safe. We will invite Tamara Ooms as our special guest speaker.

Tamara Ooms is a nurse practitioner and has worked in the world of sexual health and STDs for the past 14 years. Currently, she manages a CDC HIV prevention grant for the CAPTC and, with the UCSF Pandemic Initiative for Equity and Action, she provides COVID-19 technical assistance to local health jurisdiction staff who support schools.

This session will be conducted on May 28, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am Pacific Time.
